Judith R. Meredith, LPC, LLC
Back when I was a middle-schooler, at age 14, I already knew what I wanted to do. I was a HUGE “Dear Abby” fan! Remember her and her twin Ann Landers? I devoured their advice columns in the newspaper and started an advice service at school. Students would bring handwritten questions to me on notebook paper. I would go home, seriously contemplate the best advice to give, and respond back on notebook paper! Now, years later as an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor, I have had more than 25 wonderful years of experience helping many delightful clients! I have also enjoyed being a professor in my field, both graduate and undergrad, so I keep up with what is new in my field. Although my experience is comprehensive across all facets of mental health, my specialty area is helping women who have been affected by toxic relationships and narcissistic abuse. In addition, I enjoy providing clinical supervision for new therapists who are in the process of earning their licenses, and I provide parent divorce education courses.
Rates and Insurance
I am able to bill most insurance companies for counseling services, however, I DO NOT ACCEPT EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS (EAP's). To verify if I am a provider for your plan, contact member services for your plan.
I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?
What is my co-pay?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
You can also self-pay for sessions. The cost is $150.00 per session and I accept all major credit/debit cards.
PRIVATE & CONVENIENT
CUURENTLY, I AM CONDUCTING ALL SESSION VIRUTALLY. It's convenient and requires no commute to my office which allows more flexibility in appointment times.
